When do I need to request Plan Review from NYC Parks?

You should submit an application for plan review after submitting your job filing to DOB. You will need a DOB Now or BIS number to submit to Parks. You must obtain an Acceptance Letter (P-R) from Parks before DOB will issue your construction permits.

What documents are needed for Parks Plan Review?

-          BIS or DOB NOW number

-          Site plan

-          Site photos (may not be Google Streetview, must be color and recent)

-          Letter of intent

-          Pre-construction survey

-          BPP (optional, recommended)

-          Certified arborist report (optional, may expedite plan review)

-          Tree work entity information

How long does NYC Parks Plan review take?

From your initial application with Parks, here are the benchmarks:

-         Acceptance Letter/ Plan Receipt (P-R) -- 3-5 business days. If Plan Incomplete (PI) issued, 3-5 business days from reapplication

-          Plan review approval or Plan Correspondence (PC#) – 30 business days from issuance of P-R. Each following PC will add 30 business days from your plan resubmission.
